In mid-August 2020, I got the urge to design some profile picture frames for Facebook in order to rally for MA senator, Ed Markey. There was already a lot of support from so many other young people on Twitter, so I decided to bring some of that to Facebook, which often has an entirely different (and older) audience. Once my friends started using the frames, I quickly noticed that some people I didn't even know were using them, but could easily use them by clicking the button under others' profile pictures that said "use this frame by Molly Whitmore"!
